How to enroll

  1. The Programme Teaching Committee normally defines the admission criteria and any enrolment limits, without prejudice to any different provisions established by law.
  2. If the assessment of the applicant’s initial preparation—based on the required entry-level knowledge for admission to the Degree Programme—is not satisfactory, the Programme Teaching Committee assigns specific Additional Educational Requirements (Obblighi Formativi Aggiuntivi, OFA). The Committee also specifies the methods and deadlines for fulfilling these requirements, which must be completed within the first year of study.
  3. Admission to the Degree Programme requires sitting an Orientation and Self-Assessment Test, which is compulsory but non-selective. Failure to pass the test results in the assignment of Additional Educational Requirements (OFA).

The entry requirements are defined by the Engineering Board of the Polytechnic and Basic Sciences School, in a coordinated manner for all Degree Programmes within the Engineering Education Area. The test, developed by the CISIA Interuniversity Consortium according to nationally agreed procedures, consists of a multiple-choice questionnaire covering Mathematics, Sciences, Logic, and Verbal Comprehension. The test is delivered online in multiple sessions between February and October each year at accredited computer laboratories of the Polytechnic and Basic Sciences School.

Further information about the test, including the schedule of test sessions and access to a practice platform for self-preparation, is available at:
